The Britney Spears custodygate 2008 hostage standoff has nearly finished just minutes ago, with the fallen pop star being hauled off on a gurney after a psychiatrist was called in by the police. Sources say Britney was found to be in need of mental evaluation, then consequently shipped off to the hospital!

UPDATE: It’s been reported Britney was under the influence of heavy drugs at the time, and the standoff lasted roughly 4 hours. She is currently at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, most likely the mental health ward.
